Activist // Volunteer
Everybody talks a lot, but we don't listen to each other. That's why when we share our stories and feel heard, there is relief.
Dita Tahiri comes from a long line of principled women, and it’s the example set by her mother and grandmother that she says led to her commitment to volunteerism and servitude. Through independent fundraising and community drives, Tahiri has led programs for vulnerable and disadvantaged populations, including luncheons for elderly women and outdoor activities for disabled children. Tahiri’s work centers around inclusion, and by recruiting university students to work as program helpers, she hopes to help promote a culture of volunteerism in Kosovo.
