Edita Tahiri is the Former Minister for Dialogue for the Republic of Kosovo. As conflict escalated in the 1990’s, Tahiri acted as a peace negotiator in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, and played a crucial role in establishing Kosovo’s path to independence, as a chief negotiator at the Rambouillet Peace Conference in 1999, which resulted in US and NATO intervention in Kosovo.
