Njomza Nuraj began practicing Taekwondo when she was a child, following in the footsteps of her older brother, who took up the sport. Now, at 17-years-old, Nuraj is one of the top Taekwondo athletes in the region, with hopes of helping the Kosovar national team qualify for the Olympics in future years. “Taekwondo made me who I am today because the discipline, the respect, my health, everything that I gained from it,” said Nuraj. “It teaches you to never give up and to always give your best.”
